Laura Mays is Director of International Programs for Tiffin University and Emeritus Professor of Management.
As a faculty member at Tiffin University, Dr. Mays teaches MBA courses in Leadership, Individual and Teamwork, Organizational Design, and Transnational Management.
The collaboration of Dr. Laura Mays with Tiffin University at the University of Bucharest started in 2002 and turned out to be successful, as the MBA offered by Tiffin University is one of the best MBA Programs in Romania.
When Dr. Mays was asked what does Tiffin EMBA mean to her, she simply started with “In terms of the big picture, it has been and is one of the most rewarding professional and personal experiences of my life. In many ways, big and small, it has changed my life. “
Each student that graduated said that the Tiffin MBA Program means much more than a great learning experience that efficiently combines useful information with practice in a reality anchored business environment. Besides the usual student – professor relationship, Dr. Mays points out that the whole learning process goes beyond the classroom.
“I owe this change to the hundreds of students I have encountered over the years. Collectively, your dedication to improving your lives through education has been inspirational. The discussions over the years in the classroom have enriched my understanding of the world, and in particular, that part of the world that is now my second home: Romania. Individually, I hope you know how you have touched my heart and my soul”.
More important than what the program has meant to me, is what it has meant to you.
Working with the office staff and with our program Manager has also been a pleasure, and together we have met the challenges of the program’s beginning and continuous growth. I could not have better people to work with or to call my friends.”
For the next students that are taking Tiffin University as an alternative for their future, Dr. Laura Mays encourage them to enroll in the MBA Program.
“Working toward making this the best EMBA program in Romania has been the ultimate goal for all of us as we strive to keep our promise to you to provide you with an exceptional learning experience. We always keep this in mind, and are pleased and proud when your evaluations tell us we have kept this promise. We appreciate your feedback, and it has truly made the program a better one over all these years.”
