In present, Dr. Merlino holds a leadership position for Advantage Waypoint –Midwest Division, Ohio.
Waypoint is a national sales and marketing agency primarily representing leading brands that enjoy top positions in their categories within the foodservice industry. Advantage Waypoint is the result of some fusions and purchasing; the company is consisting of sales agents and persons responsible for sales and marketing all over the United States territory. Among the key partners there are: Nestle United States of America, Tyson Foods, Highliner Foods , Sara Lee, Land O Lakes, Danone Group, Dole, Hershey’s, Mars.
Dr. Merlino makes part of this company for over 20 years and coordinates a team of sales representatives that is reporting to her directly, working in a performing way along with Sysco agro-food, the world biggest distributor. As well, she has led a team and has managed one of the biggest management companies of the alimentary products in the United States.
The responsibility area of Dr. Susan Merlino is of approximately 50 million dollars in sales.
Dr. Merlino is a deputy instructor at Tiffin University for over 10 years, enjoying very much the opportunity of teaching and sharing both her academic knowledge, and her field experience.
Her license dissertation is from the psychology field, with a marketing part. She has, as well, an MBA from Cleveland State University. The volunteer activity in communication is important for Dr. Merlino, which is why she is a member of the audit committee from PSE Credit Union (approximately 100 million of Euro in goods).
The audit committee is supervising the entire operation, including the Management Council and CEO. She is, as well, the president of the BBA Committee of a local college – the Regional Career College, which leads the Committee towards the successful networks in various communities.
